New Bunny Rabbits at Balitoc

We just wanted to share with you all the news about our new bunny rabbits. Five in all, 3 are black, 1 is silver / gray, and the last one is tan, the only one in our group of rabbits to take on the color of the patriatch daddy rabbit. Just this morning we let the bunnies run around on the lawn. Even with the 4 of us watching them, they were a handful. So tiny and so nimble! In a few months, they'll be too strong and fast to hold. Taking them back to their cages will entail running around after them. Bebop fondly calls them "little idiots." Though he calls them that, he lets the bunnies nest on his chest. When we had just bought our first pair (from which the rest of the bunnies came from), he let them run around on on our bed. Back then, they were slower and smaller. He also dished out the cash needed to build 2 houses for them. When we had 1 house, 1 batch of newborn bunnies died because their full grown siblings were invading their space and inadvertently stamping on them repeatedly. Now our original pair of rabbits have 7 living offspring--2 fully grown ones and 5 bunnies. For now, the bunnies look like stuffed toys running around the lawn.
